Hello Readers!

I sat at my computer screen for about 20 minutes trying to figure out how to start. This is my first treadmill review and as one of my favorite comic book super hero grandfathers always said “With great power comes great responsibility.” I promise to you, the reader, that I will wield my weighty reviews with care. I will strive to be accurate and quick to make amends when I need. to. Without further delay, here is my first post, a review of the Horizon T81 Treadmill Review!

I thumbed through Amazon trying to decide which treadmill to talk about first. I thought about reviewing something from the horrible Icon Fitness line, I considered posting about a Sole Elliptical, but I finally decided to review the Horizon T81 Treadmill. Why? Because it is one of the best cheap treadmill on the market!

Well, I just made a hefty claim, and the burden of proof is on me. Here’s my case for the Horizon T81 Treadmill. First, I reviewed all repair orders for an online fitness retailer. In my 2 years of reviewing orders, there were at most five requests for repairs. Three of these requests came from people who admitted to causing the damage themselves, one from a delivery man dropping the box, and the last one was a manufacturer defect. Just one, just one Horizon treadmill had a manufacturing defect out of the thousands of Horizon Treadmills we sold over the years.

The Horizon T81 Treadmill doesn’t just have a near immaculate repair history, it’s also packed with tons of features. First, the 20” x 50” running area dwarfs other treadmill brands like Bowflex and Schwinn. To further comfort level, Horizon Fitness has developed a new and unique shock absorption system Horizon calls the ComfortZone. Horizon has been developing shock absorption systems for decades and this is the best one yet. The ComfortZone system utilizes an air filled gel cell to absorb a great deal of the impact caused by walking, jogging, and running. The ComfortZone enables exercisers to perform at their best possible with significantly less stress than is commonly associated with a cardiovascular workout. If you’re looking for a low cost treadmill without having to compromise on comfort, the Horizon T81 Treadmill is unrivaled.

Horizon Fitness has also included an unprecedented amount of fitness programs. Most other treadmill brands haphazardly put together a few random routines and call them “workout routines”. I snicker at them all! Like just about everything Horizon Fitness does, there is a lot of time, research, and design that goes into each and every fitness program so you can get the most out of all your workouts. Horizon Fitness has developed unique routines for maximizing weight loss, increasing cardiovascular health, or improving your endurance. No matter what your goal, the Horizon T81 Treadmill can get you there.

This review is getting a little lengthy. So I’ll cut it right here by saying I really like the Horizon T81 Treadmills and saying that it’s the best cheap treadmill on the market. It’s comfortable, has fitness programs and backed by a good 1 year parts and labor warranty. Even if you buy it and something goes bad, Horizon Fitness will have it fixed at their expense for up to one year! That’s service!

About the Treadmill Master

Greetings!

I am the Treadmill Master. I worked for a fitness equipment retailer for over 5 years before quitting to pursue my goal of becoming a teacher. My primary duties were customer service and marketing. Later on I moved in to technical support, light repair, and most importantly, the return desk. From the return desk I gathered valuable lessons in what makes a good treadmill. I read all the emails and letters from customers saying “this treadmill overheated” or “my elliptical trainer scrapes”. I know from looking at thousands of work orders which treadmill brands have the best track records and which companies put out shoddy equipment. I’m looking at you Icon Fitness. (I’ll get into that can of worms later on.)

If you’re looking for treadmill advice, reviews, or info, just send me an email at treadmillmaster@gmail.com. I’ll be happy to offer you my best advice from years of experience working with treadmills, ellipticals, and exercise bikes and strive to deliver you, the reader the best fitness equipment resource possible.

Sincerely,
The Treadmill Master
